Metodická publikace je jedním z výstupů projektu Kvalitní inkluzivní vzdělávání žáků se speciálními vzdělávacími potřebami na základní a střední škole. Publikace je zaměřena na výuku žáka s tělesným postižením v inkluzivní třídě. Text je členěn do tří kapitol, kdy první je vymezením teoretických východisek. Charakterizováno je zde tělesné postižení s důrazem na mozkovou obrnu spolu s uvedením specifik cílové skupiny žáků. V kapitole je rovněž zahrnuto téma speciálně pedagogické diagnostiky. Druhá kapitola se věnuje vzdělávání žáka s mozkovou obrnou v inkluzivní třídě. Třetí kapitola představuje výsledky výzkumné části projektu - žáci se speciálními vzdělávacími potřebami s tělesným postižením se zaměřením na mozkovou obrnu.

Diskriminierungsstrukturen, die Wert und Teilhabe von Menschen einschränken, untergraben diesen normativen Grundsatz. Regina Schidel analysiert die Diskriminierungsform des Ableismus, d.h. die Schlechterstellung von Menschen mit kognitiven Beeinträchtigungen, aus philosophischer und gesellschaftstheoretischer Perspektive. Ausgehend von einer innovativen Deutung des Begriffs der Menschenwürde zeigt sie, warum wir allen Menschen als Bewohner:innen einer geteilten Welt Achtung schulden. Das mündet in radikale Forderungen, wie wir den sozialen, rechtlichen und politischen Raum transformieren sollten.

Learning disabilities are a heterogeneous group of disorders characterized by failure to acquire, retrieve, or use information competently. They are the most severe and chronic form of learning difficulty in children. They can be present at birth or acquired as a result of illness, exposure to toxins, poor nutrition, medical treatment, sociocultural deprivation, or injury. Learning problems typically consist in failure to acquire reading, writing, or math skills, which are traditionally considered core domains. This book explores the epidemiology, neurobiological bases, and diagnostic tools necessary for a comprehensive assessment of children with learning disabilities. It also presents examples of children with specific learning disabilities and explains possible intervention strategies.

In recent decades, European historiography has actively dealt with the history of the body, thus giving depth and awareness to powerful stimuli coming from the dominant culture in the affluent society. Therefore, not only the 'beautiful' body has been the object of research, but also the body of the common man, mutilated, deformed and imperfect. The volume, through surveys in legal-regulatory, personal, iconographic, literary sources and in medical and physiognomic treatises and the participation of some of the major international specialists in the field, intends to deepen these issues especially for the geographical, cultural and documentary space of Italy of the late Middle Ages and the early modern age remained until now quite at the margins of this line of studies.

Tracks the narratives that have emerged from the community of parent-memoirists who, since the 1980s, have written in resistance of their children's exclusion from culture. Apgar demonstrates that in the process of telling these stories parental memoirists write their children into dominant cultural narratives about gender, race, and class.
